Obstructive sleep apnea disability is a severe sleep disorder in which your breathing stops and resumes repeatedly during sleep. There are several different types of sleep apnea, the most common being sleep apnea (obstructive). It occurs when the throat muscles intermittently relax and block the passage airway during sleep.

The symptom is snoring. However, not everyone who snores suffers from sleep apnea (obstructive). It can affect anyone, with older adults being the most affected.
